This guide explains how to use Onsite to access Certify Network, manage compliance requirements, complete inductions, access projects, and fulfil your workplace safety responsibilities.
Welcome to Onsite, the mobile and web application that provides access to Certify Network, the construction safety and compliance platform used by builders, contractors, and workers.
Certify Network is a compliance service that maintains contractor, worker, compliance, and project records in a shared database. It enables builders and contractors to share and maintain licences, training records, insurance certificates, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), inductions, and other compliance information in a single system.
Registered builders, contractors, and workers can use the Onsite app free of charge to access their Certify Network records and complete project requirements. The app is available on desktop and mobile devices at:

This guide is intended for administrators and supervisors who manage workers, compliance obligations, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements through Certify Network and the Onsite app.
About Onsite
Onsite provides direct access to Certify Network, allowing contractors and workers to manage compliance requirements and participate in construction projects from any device.
Using Onsite, contractors and workers can:
- Complete project and site inductions
- Sign in and out of construction sites
- Access project-specific information and safety documents
- Upload and manage Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Share licences, qualifications, training records, and insurance documents
- Maintain compliance records across multiple builders and projects
Administrators and supervisors can also:
- Monitor worker attendance and site access
- Manage hazards, incidents, defects, and non-compliance items
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety alerts
- Communicate important site information
- Account for workers during emergencies
Work Health and Safety
Supporting Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance is a primary function of the Onsite app. Before commencing work, all workers and visitors must sign in using the site's QR code or GPS location.
Workers are generally required to complete the relevant induction before accessing a project. Onsite then provides tools to support ongoing safety management, workforce communication, risk control, and emergency response.
Certify Network
Certify Network maintains contractor, worker, compliance, and project records in a secure central database. By connecting contractors and workers with multiple builders and projects, Certify Network reduces duplication of administrative effort and helps ensure compliance information remains current.
Compliance records such as licences, training qualifications, and insurance documents can be shared across authorised projects, while project-specific information remains accessible only to approved participants.
Subcontract Agreements
Builders use Certify Network to issue online subcontract agreements and project documentation through the platform. These processes help ensure that contractors receive and acknowledge contractual requirements, WHS Management Plans, and other project information.
Where compliance records already exist within Certify Network, they can be reused across multiple projects, reducing the need to upload the same information repeatedly.
SWMS
Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are a key risk management requirement on construction projects and should be developed in consultation with workers undertaking the work.
Onsite enables contractors to upload and maintain SWMS documentation for review by builders. Once a SWMS has been approved, workers may be required to complete a project induction before commencing work on site.
Single Residential Projects
Single residential projects are generally managed using a generic SWMS that applies across multiple projects. Once approved and accompanied by the required induction, workers can access eligible residential projects.
Multi-Residential and Commercial Projects
Multi-residential and commercial projects typically require a project-specific SWMS that covers an agreed scope of work. Workers must complete the relevant site-specific induction before being granted access to the project.
